Elaine is a Registered Massage Therapist who takes a therapeutic yet calming approach to treatment. She enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, with a particular interest in helping those experiencing headaches, chronic pain, and conditions that interfere with the activities they enjoy.
Elaine believes that understanding your body can be an important part of feeling better. She takes time to explain relevant anatomy and encourages patients to be active participants in their treatment. Her goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel heard, safe, and confident in their care.
Her treatments may incorporate a variety of techniques tailored to each individual, and she has additional training in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and TMJ dysfunction. She also provides practical home-care recommendations, including stretches, exercises, and everyday changes that may help support progress between appointments.
Outside the clinic, Elaine loves being outdoors—skiing, hiking, cycling, camping, and sailing on Okanagan Lake. She understands how important it is to be able to do the things you love and enjoys helping her patients work toward doing just that.
